The Tortoise and the Ducks

One day, a number of ducks were paddling around in a pond when they happened to spot a tortoise ambling along the edge of the water.

One of the ducks called out to the tortoise, "Hey there!" "What brings you out here in the first place?"

The tortoise announced to its companions, "I'm just out for a stroll." "This is such a gorgeous day," the speaker said.

Another duck suggested that you come swim with them if you wanted to have some fun. "Well, if you want to have some fun, you should come swimming with us."

One of the ducks said to the tortoise, "You know, Tortoise." "You might move slowly, but you never give up. I admire that about you. That is something from which each and every one of us may benefit."
