The Story of Cinderella: A Classic Fairy Tale
This is the tale of Cinderella, a young girl who lost her mother and was treated poorly by her stepmother and stepsisters. Due to her persistent look of being dirty, Cinderella is given the nickname "Cinderella" while being mistreated. She also continues to be polite and devout.

Based on the original story written by Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm (Brothers Grimm).
Once upon a time There is a family. When the wealthy man's wife fell ill and realized her time was running out, she called her one and only daughter to her bedside and comforted her, telling her, "Loving child, remain religious and good, and our dear God will always protect you, and I will look down on you from heaven and be beside you." In response, she shut her eyes and passed away.
Every day, the girl visited her mother's grave and sobbed there while continuing to be decent and holy. When winter arrived, the snow covered the grave in a white sheet, which was later lifted by the spring sun. At that point, the guy took another wife.
This woman entered the home with two daughters in tow. They had pleasant, attractive faces, but wicked, malevolent hearts. For the poor stepchild, things quickly got worse.
They argued, "Why should that foolish goose sit with us in the parlor?" She must work for her bread, if she wants to eat it. Get rid of this kitchen assistant!
They stripped her of her lovely clothing, put an old gray smock on her, and gave her a pair of wooden shoes. "Look at the princess, she is very proud! They chuckled as they yelled, "How dressed up she is!" and took her into the kitchen.
She had to get up before dawn, bring water, build fires, cook, and do laundry while working hard from daylight to dark there. In addition to this, the sisters used every trick in the book to harm her. They teased her and threw peas and lentils into the fire for her, forcing her to sit down and pull them out once more. There was no bed for her in the evening after a long day of work. She was forced to spend the night beneath the ashes near the fireplace. She was given the nickname Cinderella because she constantly appeared unclean and dusty.
When the father learned that he would be attending a fair, he asked his two stepdaughters what he should bring back for them.
The one said, "Beautiful dresses."
Pearls and jewels, the other responded.
He asked, "And you, Cinderella, what do you want?"
On your way home, Father, break off for me the first twig that brushes against your cap.
For his two stepdaughters, he consequently purchased exquisite clothes, pearls, and jewelry. He was riding through a green thicket on his way home when a hazel twig brushed across him and knocked his helmet off. He took the broken piece of twig with him after that. Upon returning home, he handed his stepdaughters their requested items, and he gave Cinderella the hazel bush twig.
As she set the branch on her mother's grave and thanked him, Cinderella sobbed uncontrollably that her tears fell on the branch and irrigated it. It developed into a lovely tree as it grew.
Cinderella visited this tree three times a day, where she knelt and prayed. Every time she made a wish, the white bird that frequented the tree would grant it, dropping the item on the ground for her to receive.
Then it so happened that the monarch announced a three-day feast. So that his son could choose a marriage for himself, all the lovely young girls in the land were invited. When the two stepsisters learned they had also been invited, they were ecstatic.
Comb our hair for us," they requested when they contacted Cinderella. We tidy up our footwear and buckle up. The event in the king's castle is where we are headed.
Cinderella followed orders but broke down in tears since she too had wanted to attend the dance with them. She pleaded for permission to leave with her stepmother.
She questioned, "You, Cinderella?" You are coated in mud and grime, yet you still want to attend the festival. You want to dance but don't have any attire or footwear.
Cinderella persisted in asking questions, so the stepmother eventually responded, "I have scattered a dish of lentils into the ashes for you. We'll let you leave with us if you can choose them again in two hours.
You gentle pigeons, you turtledoves, and all you birds beneath the sky, come and help me to gather: The girl walked through the back door and into the garden.
The good ones go inside the pot, while the undesirables end up in your crop.
Two white pigeons entered the kitchen via the window, followed by turtledoves, and suddenly all the birds in the sky whirred and swarmed in, lighting around the ashes. The birds nodded before picking, picking, picking, and picking. The rest followed suit and started picking relentlessly. They put the bowl with the excellent grains inside it. Before they were finished and all of them took off again, hardly an hour had elapsed.
When the girl gave her stepmother the bowl, she was relieved because she believed that she would now be able to accompany them to the celebration.
However, the stepmother retorted, "No, Cinderella, you don't have any clothes, and you can't dance. You'd only be mocked by everyone.
She said, "You may go if you can pick two bowls of lentils out of the ashes for me in an hour," knowing full well that Cinderella would never be able to accomplish that. Cinderella immediately started to cry.
The dishes were filled with all the nutritious grains. They were completed in less than 30 minutes, and then they all took off again.
When the girl gave the bowls to her stepmother, she was relieved since she believed she would now be able to accompany them to the celebration.
But the stepmother retorted, "It's useless. You don't know how to dance, and you don't have any clothes, therefore you're not coming with us. You would make us feel bad. As she did so, Cinderella turned around and fled in haste with her two ecstatic daughters.
Cinderella went to her mother's tomb beneath the hazel tree when no one else was at home and sobbed out:
Little tree, tremble and quake
Toss some gold and silver my way.
The bird then dropped a clothing made of gold and silver as well as a pair of silk and silver embroidered slippers on top of her. She hurriedly got the dress on before heading to the festival.
She was unknown to her stepmother, stepsisters, and stepfather. Given how stunning she appeared in the golden dress, they assumed she was a foreign princess. They never once believed it to be Cinderella since they believed she was at home in the mud, searching for lentils in the ashes.
The prince walked over to her, took her by the hand, and began to dance. Additionally, he wouldn't dance with anyone else. She was his dancing partner, and he never let go of her hand when someone else approached and invited her to dance.
After dancing till dusk, she was ready to return home. However, the prince volunteered, "I will go along and escort you, because I want to see to whom the lovely girl belongs." But she escaped him and dove into the pigeon coop. When her father arrived, the prince informed him that the unidentified girl had leaped into the pigeon coop after waiting for him to arrive.
Could that be Cinderella, wondered the elderly guy.
No one was inside the pigeon coop, so he asked them to get him an ax and a pick so he could tear it apart. Cinderella was sleeping in the ashes when they returned home, clad in her filthy garments. The fireplace was blazing a little, faint oil lamp. Cinderella had hurriedly leaped from the pigeon coop's back and dashed to the hazel tree. She had removed her lovely clothing and set them on the tomb when the bird picked them up again. She later returned to the kitchen's ashes while wearing her gray smock.
When the festival reopened the following day and her parents and stepsisters had returned, Cinderella walked to the hazel tree and said:
Little tree, tremble and quake
Toss some gold and silver my way.
The bird then dropped down an even more exquisite outfit than the day before. Everyone at the fair was astounded by Cinderella's beauty when she showed up wearing this attire. The prince held out on taking her by the hand until she arrived, at which point he started dancing exclusively with her. She is my dance partner, he replied when others approached and requested her to dance with them.
She wanted to leave when dusk fell, and the prince followed her to see which home she entered. She, however, escaped from him and entered the garden behind the home. There was a lovely tall tree, from which hung the most delicious pears. The prince was unaware of her whereabouts as she ascended into the branches with the agility of a squirrel. The mysterious girl has eluded me, and I think she has climbed up the pear tree, he stated to her father after waiting till her father arrived.
Could it be Cinderella, wondered the father. No one was in the tree when he had an ax brought to him and began to chop it down. Since Cinderella had leapt down from the other side of the tree, taken the lovely garment back to the bird in the hazel tree, and put on her gray smock before they arrived at the kitchen, she was resting there in the ashes as usual.
The third day, after her sisters and parents had left, Cinderella returned to her mother's grave and addressed the tree, saying:
Little tree, tremble and quake
Toss some gold and silver my way.
This time, the bird tossed her a dress that was more beautiful and spectacular than any she had ever worn, together with a pair of slippers made of solid gold. Everyone was so shocked that they were at a loss for words when she showed up at the festival wearing this attire. The prince would always say, "She is my dance partner," whenever someone else asked her to dance.
When dusk fell, Cinderella decided to depart. The prince attempted to accompany her, but he was unable to catch up with her due to her rapid escape. However, the prince had laid a trap. He had applied pitch to the entire stairwell. Her left slipper got caught in the pitch as she sprinted down the stairs. The prince grabbed it. It was little and delicate and made of pure gold.
The following morning, he returned with it and told the man, "My wife shall only be the one whose foot fits this golden shoe."
The two sisters were delighted to hear this because their feet were attractive. The older girl took the shoe into her bedroom to try it on as her mother watched. Her big toe would not fit since the shoe was too small for her. Then her mother handed her a knife and instructed her to amputate her toe. When you become queen, you won't need to walk anywhere.
The girl severed her toe, stuffed her foot into the shoe, pushed through the discomfort, and walked to the prince. As his wife, he mounted her and rode off with her. The two pigeons were perched on a hazel tree nearby and were yelling: "Help!" They had to ride by the grave, though.
It's rook di goo, rook di goo!
The sneaker has blood in it.
The bride is incorrect, and the shoe is too small!
When he turned to look at her foot, he noticed that blood was dripping from it. He turned his horse around and brought the fake bride back home, claiming that she was the wrong choice and that the other sister need to try the shoe on. Her toes fit inside the shoe just fine after she entered her bedroom, but her heel was too big.
Cut a piece off your heel, her mother instructed as she handed her a knife. When you become queen, you won't need to walk anywhere.
The girl sliced off a bit of her heel, stuffed her foot into the shoe, sucked up the pain, and walked to the prince. As his wife, he mounted her and rode off with her. The two birds were sitting in the hazel tree when they passed by, and they screamed out:
It's rook di goo, rook di goo!
The sneaker has blood in it.
The bride is incorrect, and the shoe is too small!
When he looked down at her foot, he could see that her shoe was leaking blood and that her white stocking had become completely reddened. He then turned around and returned with the impostor bride to his house.
He added, "This isn't the right one either. "Have you got any other daughters?"
The man answered, "No. Only a disfigured little Cinderella from my first wife is present, but she is ineligible to be the bride.
The mother replied, "Oh, no, she is far too unclean. The prince directed him to send her to him. She is hidden from view.
Cinderella had to be called since the prince insisted on it. Prior to going and bowing before the prince, who gave her the golden slipper, she first cleansed her hands and face. She slid her foot into the slipper, which fit her wonderfully, after pulling it out of the bulky wooden shoe.
When she stood up, the prince turned to face her and saw the stunning woman he had danced with. She's my real bride, he shouted out.
The two sisters and the stepmother were frightened and were pale with rage. Cinderella, on the other hand, was seated on the prince's horse and escorted away. The two white birds screamed as they walked by the hazel tree:
It's rook di goo, rook di goo!
There is no blood in the shoe.
This bride is correct—the shoe is not too little!
Once they had both shouted this out, they both flew down and sat on Cinderella's shoulders, one on each side, for the remainder of the scene.
The two counterfeit sisters arrived when the wedding with the prince was set to take place, hoping to win Cinderella's favor and partake in her good fortune. The smaller sister walked on their left side while the older sister walked on their right as the bridal couple entered the chapel. One of their eyes was pecked out by birds. The older one was on the left and the younger one was on the right as they exited the chapel. The pigeons then pecked out the second eye from each of them. They consequently received blindness as a punishment for their wickedness and deceit for the duration of their lives.
The moral of the story of "Cinderella" is that goodness and perseverance will triumph over cruelty and oppression. The story shows that Cinderella's kindness, decency, and hard work, despite the mistreatment she faced from her stepmother and stepsisters, ultimately led to her happiness and a better life. It also suggests that those who are unkind and wicked will ultimately face consequences for their actions.
