The Lion and the Ass

A lion and an ass were once seen strolling through the woodland side by side. The ass served the lion, who reigned as the forest's king.
The lion noticed a group of hunters approaching as they were moving along. The lion devised a strategy after realizing that he could not overcome the hunters by himself.

He instructed the a$$ to hide in the bushes while acting sick. The lion laid on the ground and feigned to be sick and frail when the hunters arrived.
The lion's condition startled the hunters, who believed they could easily capture him. They used their net to approach the lion, but the lion suddenly leapt up and repelled them.
The ass wondered how the lion had managed to outwit the hunters as he watched from the bushes and expressed amazement at his cunning. The lion grinned and advised the jerk that it was sometimes preferable to utilize intelligence over strength.
The story's lesson is that "it is frequently preferable to utilize your intellect than your muscle."
