The Crow and the Pitcher

The Crow and the Pitcher
Aesop's Fable: The Crow and the Pitcher

A crow was searching the jungle for some water on a scorching summer day. She noticed a pitcher seated on the side of a creek as she flew by.

The crow swooped down and squinted into the pitcher, but she couldn't get to the water since it was too low. She made numerous attempts to access the water, but she was unable to do so.

The crow had an idea when thirsty and angry. She swooped down and dropped a rock into the pitcher from a distance. When the water level rose high enough for her to reach, she swooped back and added yet another rock.

The crow enjoyed herself and took a long, refreshing drink to slake her thirst.

The moral of the story is that we sometimes need to think creatively and judiciously use our resources in order to solve issues and accomplish our objectives. Even the most difficult obstacles can be conquered with tenacity and creativity.
