The Boys and the Frogs
Aesop's Fables - The Boys and the Frogs

One day, while the boys were having fun nearby a pond, they noticed some frogs swimming in the water. The boys began tossing stones at the frogs because they believed it would be amusing to try and capture them.

The frogs attempted to swim away in fear, but the boys were too swift for them. The frogs were soon all trapped and laying on the ground.

One of the guys begged his friends to release the frogs because he felt bad for them. The boy was told that they had caught the frogs fairly and squarely by the other lads, who didn't want to let the frogs go.

The young man who felt bad for the frogs persisted. His friends ultimately consented to let the frogs go after much pleading from him.

The child thanked his buddies for letting the frogs go when he was quite thrilled. Due to their realization that it was the proper decision, the other males were also joyful.

The story's lesson is that it's crucial to be courteous and compassionate, even when it means letting things go.
